Schlinz Family Session

Rose Garden - Minneapolis

I had previously worked with the Schlinz family when their sweet little boy was just a couple week old newborn last year, so I'm always honored to work with a family again and also to see their family grow. This time, however, it was for more than just a 1st birthday. Their little boy had a surgery coming up that following Monday to fix a hole in his heart and they wanted as many pictures as possible of him before he got the full zipper scar on his chest from the procedure. Despite the less than ideal weather, we had a great time making their little guy laugh and just enjoy being outside and exploring the rose garden. We were able to capture some amazing shots and even worked in a little puddle play at the end from all the rain earlier that day!
